Somuncurá plateau, the world of the wind.

A colossal basalt island isolated from everything, which emerges on the environment of the steppe that surrounds it. With an area almost equivalent to Belgium but with less than 1000 inhabitants, Somuncurá is a virgin, beautiful, extensive, unique and magical place.

The plateau and its people

Today as before, still almost uninhabited, as a world apart in which only handful of population live isolated from everything, without knowing anything about what happens outside the plateau. 

The roads of the plateau

There are no roads in the plateau, only two or three trails to reach the top. And once are there, just a handful of paths lead to ranches and small settlements.
